Your Tasks & Responsibilities
The Reefer Strategy and Steering team is part of Global Reefer at Hapag-Lloyd AG headquarters in Hamburg. We are responsible to execute the reefer strategy and steer the reefer business in close cooperation with our regional reefer point of entries, Trade Management and Global Container Steering.
We deliver commercial and operational business optimization, align equipment supply & demand, monitor, follow up on performance deviations and contribute to the best reefer product in our industry.
Together with our international and dynamic reefer team, you have the possibility to interact with the global Hapag-Lloyd reefer network in all regions and key reefer markets. You will support our team with preparing reefer budget targets, assist in steering & driving reefer performance and help to deliver a reliable reefer quality product for our customers.
We are looking for a motivated team player with excellent skills in data base analysis as well as the ability to work in a very structured manner.
Specific areas of responsibilities include the following:
Provide crucial support to the Reefer Strategy & Steering team in Hamburg, assisting in various tasks to ensure smooth business handling:
- Preparation of budget and forecasting tools
- Assist the team to update performance relevant KPIs
- Creating and updating Market & Management Presentations
- Assist in preparation of Reefer Trade Fairs
- Gather and analyse data to provide valuable insights and support decision making (ad hoc analysis support)
- Performing research tasks
- Support the analysis and implementation of reefer relevant projects
- Collaborate closely with team members
Your Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in logistics or a related field
- Motivated, customer-focused, and a reliable team player
- Analytical skills, with an organized and efficient working style
- Advanced skills in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with diverse teams
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies

Good to know
- You start with us as soon as possible and work approx. 20 hours per week
- During the semester break you can increase your hours up to 38 hours
- We are currently planning your assignment for 6 months with the option of an extension and will, of course, also take your course of studies into account
