Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consulting Manager to lead our sustainability projects and drive value for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategy consulting, with a specific focus on sustainability initiatives within the mobility sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and make a meaningful impact on the future of sustainable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage sustainability projects for mobility businesses, from initial scoping and strategy development to execution and implementation.
- Partner with clients to understand their sustainability goals, challenges, and opportunities, and develop tailored solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough analyses of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements to inform strategic recommendations and decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts, to deliver high-quality deliverables and insights to clients.
- Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients on sustainability best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Lead client workshops, presentations, and discussions to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress updates effectively.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster their professional development and growth.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and sustainability trends to continuously enhance expertise and deliver value to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, with a focus on sustainability projects within the mobility sector.
- Deep understanding of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and industry trends impacting the transportation and mobility industries.
- Proven track record of leading and managing complex consulting projects, from inception to completion, with a focus on delivering impactful results for clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Fluency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements and project meetings.
