System AIT Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Overall AIT technical responsible within a project across AIT disciplines
- Support to the AIT manager in planning activities
- Define an AIT integration Flow of a Space Element (Payload, Unit or Instrument) in line with Project documentation (AIV Plan, AIT Plan, DDVP, etc.)
- Autonomous preparation, organisation and leading an Environmental Test Campaign for a space element
- Manage materials and supplies for Lab running
- Definition of concepts for Test MGSE (mechanical and the Thermal); CAD and FEA skills would be a plus
- Ensure implementation of company AIT processes considering company Lessons Learnt
- Close collaboration with other disciplines like Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Assurance, etc.
- Control the technical coherency and consistency of AIT documents, setups and approaches
- Support and implementation of standard reviews such as IRR, TRR, PTR and TRB; participation to project reviews in coordination with the AIT Manager
- Representing the AIT approach in reviews as well as during the communication with the customer
- Ensure the timely preparation and compilation of required AIT documents, such as AIT Flows, AIT plans, procedures and test reports
- In cooperation with Product Assurance: conducting inspections, keeping log-sheet records, compilation of non-conformance and problem reports
- Impact Assessment on problems and non-conformances with the proper documentation and pro-active seeking of support of other experts when necessary
Your Qualificatons
- Degree in engineering, Physics, space technology or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in space projects, in the field of system engineering or preferably AIT
- Proven experience of space elements Environmental Test Campaign
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
- Accustomed to work in teams
- Accustomed to take responsibility of Tasks and Work Packages until timely delivery of results
- Well-developed communication and leadership skills
- Flexibility in mind, able and willing to react on changes during the project realization
- Inventive concerning AIT methods and testing
- Fluency in spoken and written English, German language skills are a plus
