Job Description
FOR THE INFORMATION PROCESSING CENTER (IVZ)
You design and develop scalable data architectures and platforms with a focus on audiovisual media for Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR).
Your tasks
- BigData: You will develop innovative approaches and concepts for specific solutions in the areas of BigData management and machine learning datasets.
- Projects : Together with architects and departments, you develop future governance for a consistent information architecture. Your tasks will also include managing (sub)projects using agile and classic methods. You will also create presentations and documentation.
- Design: You design the BR's overarching information architecture with the aim of translating business requirements into data and system requirements.
Your profile
Graduate with a degree in (business) computer science and/or a comparable successfully completed training in the IT sector or information and media technology
- Many years of professional experience in project and process management in the media environment
- confident, binding and diplomatic dealings with project participants at all levels
- Structured, independent and reliable way of working as well as confident handling of MS Office products and SAP
- very good knowledge of spoken and written German as well as good knowledge of English
The IVZ
We are the internal IT service provider for ARD, i.e. all ARD broadcasters, Deutschlandradio and DW under the leadership of rbb and provide central IT services at the locations in the state broadcasters and at Deutschlandradio. Munich is
the preferred place of work , but another place of work at one of our IVZ locations in Cologne, Leipzig, Munich or Hamburg at one of the state broadcasting companies is also possible.
