Ariane 6 is a ESA's new launcher that can be equipped with up to four solid fuel boosters - enough thrust to leave orbit and reach out for Mars! A friend has asked to help and I was given the honour to contribute to some control software (bringing the 1980s Nerd to light!). I always loved programming wind turbine controllers and embraced this opportunity! Thanks to Corona, the Ariane 6 Maiden flight has been postponed to 2021, while everyone else's Mars mission was launched (NASA, China, Emirates).

Nach dem Kauf einiger Patente gründete ich zusammen mit einem Staatsfonds eine Gesellschaft zur Entwicklung großer Antriebsstränge. Der 18 m große Ringgenerator mit einem Gewicht von nur 150 Tonnen fußte auf einer cleveren Rahmenkonstruktion, welche wir nebst einer Windkraftanlage (3 Megawatt) durch die Zertifizierung brachten. Nach erfolgreichem Lizenzverkauf in zwei wachsende Windenergiemärkte hat meine Holding die Beteiligung an die Investmentgesellschaft eines nordeuropäischen Möbelproduzenten verkauft.
