Тeaching Strength of Materials, Theory of Elasticity and Mechanics of Structures. Research in the fields of distance education and mechanics of materials. As Head of the Committee for the Methodology of Teaching and Learning, supervision of the academic staff and counseling on the techniques and methodology of in-class and distance instruction; developments in the interdisciplinary approach at teaching and learning.

As research scientist, responsibilities included the development of computer aided methods of design and manufacture of metal-cutting tools. Engineer responsible for detailed design, dynamic and static stress analysis of components for hydraulically operated frozen-soil/rock digger (loosening machine). Hydrodynamics calculations. Supervision of students’ summer vocational practice. As senior engineer duties included: research into mechanical properties, testing, and elaboration of mathematical model for human blood vessel wall.

The perfection of the methodology of teaching technical course disciplines by means of information and communication technologies as applied to adult continuing technical education.
